  1. loving you was like loving the moon/needed someone else to shine
  2. slips between my lips & lands on the tip of my tongue
  3. while watching the seaweed dance in the sea
  4. & then i remember we all stare at the same moon/are you talking to me too?
  5. as the thin rim hits my lip
  6. learn to leave the dish in the sink
  7. the 3am waffle house: all star-scrambled eggs w/ cheese-waffle-buttered toast-lukewarm black coffee
  8. a looming cloud that rains on my mind
  9. to see the sea between the trees/listen to pebbles drag as the ocean runs away 
  10. holidays filled with loose lips/menial niceties & backhanded compliments
